Publication Ethics
Publication ethics and malpractice statement.
Dimensia is committed to the highest standards of research integrity and publication ethics. This statement sets out the duties of everyone involved in publishing in the journal. It is based on the Core Practices and guidance of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), and the journal follows COPE flowcharts when handling cases.

- Fair play. Evaluate manuscripts only on their academic merit, regardless of the authors' race, gender, religion, ethnicity, nationality, political views, seniority, or institution.
- Publication decisions. Ensure every research article is reviewed by at least two independent reviewers and base decisions on validity, originality, clarity, and fit with the scope.
- Confidentiality. Share information about a manuscript only with the authors, reviewers, and editorial staff who need it, and never use unpublished material for their own research.
- Conflicts of interest. Declare competing interests and hand manuscripts from their own institution, collaborators, or students to another editor.
- Integrity of the record. Publish corrections, expressions of concern, or retractions when needed and investigate every credible allegation of misconduct.
- Independence. Resist pressure from the publisher, funders, or authors, and never coerce authors to cite the journal or particular papers.
Duties of Reviewers
- Contribution. Help the editor reach a decision and help authors improve their work.
- Promptness. Decline invitations outside their expertise or that they cannot complete on time.
- Confidentiality. Treat manuscripts as confidential documents; do not share them, discuss them, or upload them to generative AI tools.
- Objectivity. Give clear, evidence-based, and courteous comments; personal criticism of authors is inappropriate.
- Acknowledgment of sources. Point out relevant published work that is not cited and report substantial similarity with other work.
- Conflicts of interest. Decline to review when they have competing, collaborative, or other relationships with the authors, companies, or institutions connected to the paper.
Duties of Authors
- Reporting standards. Present an accurate account of the work and its significance, with enough detail and references to permit others to replicate it. Fraudulent or knowingly inaccurate statements are unacceptable.
- Data access and retention. Keep raw data and provide them to the editor on request.
- Originality and plagiarism. Submit entirely original work and cite all sources, including their own previous work.
- Multiple or concurrent publication. Do not submit the same research to more than one journal at a time or publish it more than once.
- Authorship. List as authors only those who meet the authorship criteria; all co-authors approve the final version.
- Disclosure. Declare all sources of funding, conflicts of interest, and any use of generative AI.
- Human participants and personal data. Obtain informed consent and ethical approval where required, and protect participants' privacy.
- Fundamental errors. Notify the editor promptly of any significant error in their published work and cooperate in correcting or retracting it.
Research with Human Participants and Organizations
Surveys, interviews, and experiments with people require informed consent and, where the authors' institution requires it, approval from an ethics committee. Participants and organizations are anonymized unless they have agreed in writing to be named. Confidential company data may only be used with the owner's permission.
Duties of the Publisher
Research and Innovation Centre Institute (Resincen) guarantees the editorial independence of the journal, provides the resources and infrastructure for ethical publishing, ensures long-term preservation of the content, and supports the editors in handling ethical cases, including corrections and retractions. The publisher does not intervene in editorial decisions.
Handling Ethical Concerns
Anyone may raise a concern about a manuscript or published article by writing to [dimensia@resincen.org]. Concerns are handled confidentially under the Research Misconduct policy, and the outcome is published under the Corrections and Retractions policy where needed.
Related policies: Peer Review Process, Plagiarism Policy, Conflict of Interest, Generative AI Policy, Data Availability, Complaints and Appeals.
