Complaints and Appeals

How to appeal a decision or raise a complaint.

The journal welcomes feedback and treats every appeal and complaint fairly, confidentially, and promptly, following COPE guidance.

Appeals Against Editorial Decisions

  1. Send the appeal to the Editor-in-Chief at [dimensia@resincen.org] within 30 days of the decision, quoting the submission ID.
  2. Explain clearly why the decision should be reconsidered, responding specifically to the reviewers' and editor's comments. New information or a demonstrated error in the review is the strongest basis for an appeal.
  3. An editor who was not involved in the original decision reviews the appeal and may consult an additional reviewer.
  4. The authors receive a decision, usually within [30 days]. The appeal decision is final, and only one appeal is considered per manuscript.
  5. The manuscript must not be submitted to another journal while the appeal is under consideration.

Complaints

Complaints about the journal's processes, delays, the conduct of editors or reviewers, or published content should be sent to [dimensia@resincen.org]. They are acknowledged within [five working days] and resolved, where possible, within [30 days].

Concerns about research or publication misconduct are handled under the Research Misconduct policy.
