Corrections and Retractions

How errors in published articles are handled.

The journal is responsible for the integrity of the scholarly record. Once published, an article is not changed silently: changes are made through the notices below, following the COPE Retraction Guidelines.

NoticeWhen it is used
ErratumCorrects a significant error introduced by the journal during production.
CorrigendumCorrects a significant error made by the authors that does not change the conclusions.
Expression of concernAlerts readers to a serious concern while an investigation is ongoing or when the evidence is inconclusive.
RetractionUsed when the findings are unreliable because of major error, fabrication, or falsification, or in cases of plagiarism, duplicate publication, unethical research, or manipulated peer review. The article stays online with a RETRACTED watermark and a linked notice explaining the reason.
RemovalOnly in rare legal cases (for example defamation or privacy violations). The metadata remains online with an explanation.

How Notices Are Published

  • Each notice is published in the next issue, listed in the table of contents, and receives its own DOI.
  • The notice and the original article are linked to each other, and the change is registered with Crossref.
  • The notice states who requested the change, what was changed, and why.
  • Small typographical errors that do not affect meaning may be corrected in the online version with a dated note.

Requesting a Correction

Authors who find an error in their published article should contact [dimensia@resincen.org] as soon as possible. Readers may also report errors; the editor will consult the authors before deciding.

Withdrawal of Manuscripts

Authors may withdraw a manuscript before acceptance by sending a written request signed by all authors. Withdrawal after acceptance is allowed only for a serious reason approved by the Editor-in-Chief. Submitting the same manuscript to another journal before withdrawal is confirmed is considered duplicate submission.

Post-Publication Discussion

Comments on published articles may be sent to [dimensia@resincen.org]. Substantive comments may be published as letters to the editor, together with the authors' reply.
