Article Processing Charges

What authors pay, and when.

For the editor (delete this box before publishing): Keep only ONE of the two options and delete the other. DOAJ requires every possible charge (submission, processing, page, colour, withdrawal) to be listed, or an explicit statement that there are none. The same amount must appear on the About page, in the sidebar, and in the DOAJ application.

Option A: No Charges

SEIN does not charge authors any fees. There are no submission, processing, page, colour, or withdrawal charges. The costs of publication are covered by Research and Innovation Centre Institute (Resincen).

Option B: Article Processing Charge

Submission feeNone
Article processing charge (APC)[IDR x,xxx, xxx] for authors in Indonesia; [USD xxx] for international authors
When payableOnly after the manuscript has been accepted following peer review
What it coversEditorial management, plagiarism screening, copyediting, layout, DOI registration, long-term archiving, metadata distribution to indexing services, and website hosting
Page, colour, or figure chargesNone
Charges to readersNone; all articles are free to read

Waivers and Discounts

Authors from countries classified by the World Bank as low-income or lower-middle-income, students without funding, and authors in financial hardship may request a full or partial waiver. Send the request to [sein@resincen.org] before the manuscript is accepted, with a short explanation.

Waiver requests are handled by the managing editor and are never shared with the handling editor or reviewers. The ability to pay plays no role in editorial decisions.

Withdrawal

Authors may withdraw a manuscript at any time before acceptance free of charge. Withdrawal after acceptance is possible only for a serious reason under the Corrections and Retractions policy; any charge for this will never exceed the APC.

Payment

After acceptance, the corresponding author receives an invoice from Research and Innovation Centre Institute (Resincen). Payment details are sent only from the journal email [sein@resincen.org]. Beware of fraudulent emails asking for payment in the journal's name; if in doubt, contact us.
