Cybersecurity Awareness Through Data Driven Analysis and Community-Based Education

Cybersecurity awareness is a critical factor in protecting digital users from increasing threats such as phishing, identity theft, and data breaches. This study investigates the impact of awareness and experiential factors on cybersecurity behavior through the application of Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) based on 100 questionnaire responses. The analysis reveals that awareness significantly influences secure digital behavior, with a path coefficient of 0.616, while experiential factors contribute moderately (0.229). Based on these findings, the research develops seven actionable procedures aimed at enhancing cybersecurity literacy among students and the general public. The procedures were disseminated through community-based educational outreach, including printed brochures and a publicly shared educational video. The results demonstrate the importance of data-driven educational strategies in fostering secure digital habits and emphasize the potential for scaling awareness campaigns at the grassroots level.
